I have it in my head to make a pair of knee socks for socktober so I went stashdiving and came up with 2 skeins of Lorna's Laces in Denim (the dark blue) and 2 skeins of Lorna's in SandRidge (the variegated)...now the trick is how it should go together. Should I do contrasting heels and toes, and if so, what should be the main color? Should I do mostly one color over another or just do them solid (although I'm worried about running out of yarn. I have big feet and long legs). Or....I don't know. So, I created my first poll. This was pretty cool, Please clicky clicky down there and tell me what you think I should do.
Oh and adding another to my list I also joined Sandy's warm hands knitalong as well, it sounded like fun and I missed out last year!

wow i love those colors i think stripey socks would look wonderful as knee highs... lovely

Ooh, beautiful colors! I voted for the Sand Ridge MC/ Denim CC option, although I was thinking that alternating stripes might be fun, too!

I'm all for alternating stripes too!

I think light MC and dark CC looks great, but that depents on the pattern you are choosing.

I've run into that problem when I've thought of knee socks too--all my sock yarn stash is in regular sock amounts. Your combo looks great--but if you want solid socks maybe that means its time to buy more yarn?

it won't let me vote BUT I day denim for the MC and Sand Ridge for the CC.

That's a hard one! I am sure they would look great, no matter what! I am hoping to do some knee socks for Socktoberfest too ;)
I joined Sandy's as well - warm hands AND warm toes this fall and winter!

I don't see a poll, but I'd go with solid heels and toes, and the ribbing at the tob.
My second choice is stripes!
